Cardinal Flower (Lobelia Cardinalis)

A native perennial that grows in moist soils. Typically near streams and ditches. Gets attractive red blooms in late summer. Hummingbirds and butterflies are drawn to the flowers. 2-4 feet in height. Soil needs to stay moist, afternoon shade is required for our climate.
