A native perennial that is a butterfly magnet! The flowers have a pale pink color and are massive. Common growing on roadsides and near streams. Can grow up to 7 feet tall! A great addition to the back of the flower garden. Can grow in part sun, to almost full shade conditions. Prefers moist soils, but is fairly adaptable. If possible avoid hot afternoon sun. A unique and extraordinary plant that has amazed me for years. Such a sight to see!
