Purple Giant Hyssop (Agastache scrophulariifolia)

A tall striking perennial that will flower for weeks. Very nectar rich flower that will attract all sorts of pollinators including butterflies. The flowers are pale purple and bloom in mid-summer. May grow 3-6 feet tall. A rare plant that would look great in the back of the garden.

Requirements:

• Full to partial sun

• Water when the soil is dry

• May need staking

• Sensitive to competition

Plants are grown in half gallon pots and 4-inch plugs. Height of plant is dependent on time of year. Expect plants to be shorter in early season, and 1-2 feet by summer.
